The G2 Gallery is an award winning nature and wildlife photography gallery that facilitates change by bringing attention to environmental issues through the power of photographic art.
G2 shares this passion with both celebrated and emerging environmental photographers, who use the camera as a tool to inspire conservation.
Shortly after the G2 Gallery opened in 2008, they approached us to take over their current html website, and evolve it into something more modern, but still aimed at an audience 50+ years old using IE6 at desktop screen resolutions of 800px x 600px.
For the last six years, we have maintained and evolved the website, maintaining its static html foundation, while integrating a JS layer, using PHP to streamline their multi-media, and relying up CSS to make the website responsive and help it really pop.
The design that I came up with reflects the clients aesthetic preferences, combined with my own preference for minimal design, with a constant goal to appeal to an older audience.
As of 2014, the site has thousands of pages, thousands of visitors every month, and top rankings in google, bing, yahoo for all related keywords.
